Purple DS apps support tracking via several different tracking services. You can find more information about tracking in the technical documentation.
There are three different types of events:
- Actions, e.g. clicking a button
- Views, e.g. the user can switch between a view where the newsstand is visible to a view where the app menu is visible.
- Purchases that a users might make in the app
Additionally, if the tracking service supports this, there are several attributes which describe the state of the app/usage by a user. These can be used for campaign tracking and / or installation tracking.

Not all event types are supported by all tracking services.
