  • Menu Button
Here you can integrate your own icon for displaying buttons ("Use custom Menu Icon"). Or you can fully deactivate the display option by unchecking the "Show Menu Button" option. The app menu can no longer be invoked via this button. However, users can pull up the menu by swiping from the left edge of the device. Furthermore, you can open the menu from the content (article or issue) using an action URL.

  • Table of Contents Button
(top right in the article or article) ("Use custom Table of Contents Icon"). You can fully deactivate its presentation by unchecking the "Show Table of Contents Button" button. The menu can no longer be invoked via this button. However, you can open the menu from the content (article or issue) using an action URL.

  • Color Settings
The easiest way to change color settings is via Color scheme. However, you have the option of separately overwriting all options as well. The screenshots on the right next to the color options display the view and element for which the respective color settings are valid.

  • Actionbar
You can activate the actionbar in the app, especially in the article or article. Deactivate the "Actionbar invisible" option so that the transparent action bar will be displayed.

  • iOS, Android and Kindle
In these platform-specific menus, you can configure or adjust splash screens for the different platforms. Furthermore, platform-specific color settings are provided here.
Note : When starting the app, it is automatically created from the app icon.

  • iOS status bar (eg battery, time)

Status bar is by default visible in newsstand and newsfeed. It will be turned off in full screen within an issue (from the newsstand).

The respective text color of the status can be chosen in Purple DS Manager. You have a choice between dark (= black) and light (= white) colors.
