Data safety information in Play console

Modified on Thu, 7 Jul, 2022 at 9:28 AM

1. General Information

Since April 2022, data security information must be provided for new app submissions in Google Play. From July 20th 2022 this information is also mandatory to update existing Apps in Google Play.

The information you need to provide depends on the extent to which data is collected and stored from the app users.
This in turn depends on which services are connected to the app and in what form ,for example, tracking or analysis data, is stored and processed there.

Please note: The following information only refers to the information that we believe is required for a standard Purple app without additional services.

If you use additional services, e.g. SDKs for tracking, please contact your service provider to clarify which additional information is required.
